Salary: $10.00 to $12.00 Hourly for 35 hours per week, Bonus, Other Benefits

Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Experience: Will train

Work Setting: Office of health care professional


Therapy Assistant Specific Skills: Provide support services to health care professionals, Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies


Chiropractic Office Assistant Specific Skills: Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine, Record vital signs, Assist chiropractor with patient health education, Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation, Order supplies and equipment, Connect treatment machines to patients, as directed by chiropractor, Assist chiropractor with physical examinations, Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments


Additional Skills: Maintain records and inventories of supplies, Clean and maintain equipment, Order supplies and equipment, Schedule appointments, Collect statistics, Maintain inventory of equipment, Perform general clerical duties


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking


Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Own transportation
